The terminal box position is defined by looking at the output shaft side of the motor.

Motor protection

The following options are available for monitoring the winding temperature of the motor:

1 set of PTC thermistors (3 pcs.) - for monitoring with PTC thermistor tripping or frequency inverter (standard from size 132)

1 set (3 pcs.) of temperature switches (bimetal opener) - for monitoring e.g. with motor protection relay

2 sets (6 pcs.) PTC thermistors - for pole-changing motors with separate winding

2 sets (6 pcs.) of temperature switches (bimetal opener) - for pole-changing motors with separate winding

The selection of one of these options is recommended when operating the motor on the frequency inverter, as the motor may overheat due to reduced speeds and the associated lower cooling capacity.

Shaft / Bearing

Available options:

Reinforced bearing

Reinforced bearing possible from size 132, NU bearing on the output side (d-side)
Use in the event of increased lateral forces (e.g. due to belt drives)

Regreasing device
possible from size 132, for simple relubrication of the motor bearings

Insulated bearing n-side for frequency converter operation
Measure to prevent bearing stresses during operation on the frequency inverter
possible from size 200

Radial shaft seal d-side
Radial seal ring on the d-side (output shaft), incl. fixed bearing n-side

Vibration limit level B (fine balancing)
Reduced vibration velocity in accordance with EN 60034-14, for use at higher speeds (e.g. due to operation with frequency inverter)
