Product description
The GA500 compact inverter has clever functions and features that offer benefits throughout the entire life cycle of a machine or system. From the selection of frequency inverters to design, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting, the GA500 makes life easier. With its space-saving design and flexibility in terms of motor type and connection options, the GA500 masters almost any challenge.

Features & functions:
  • Reliability in use thanks to design for 10 years of maintenance-free operation
  • Robust design - suitable for ambient temperatures up to 60°C and installation altitudes up to 4000m, coated circuit boards make the FI less sensitive to dust and moisture
  • For controlling asynchronous, permanent magnet and synchronous reluctance motors
  • V/f control and sensorless vector control (open loop vector)
  • Frequency control range 0.01 to 590Hz
  • Integrated EMC mains filter (category C1)
  • Integrated brake chopper for the use of an external brake resistor
  • Functional safety: STO (Safe Torque Off) in accordance with ISO13849-1 Cat 3, PLd and IEC 61508, SIL2

Commissioning and operation
  • Bright LED display and tactile buttons for simple and intuitive navigation through menus and parameters
  • The detachable control panel can be used as a parameter memory or copy module
  • Mini-USB connection - simple programming, monitoring and fault analysis from a PC or mobile device
  • Powerless programming (e.g. FI still in the packaging) possible
  • "DriveWizard 10" commissioning software (for PC) and DriveWizard Mobile (app with setup wizard)
  • "DriveWorksEZ" programming software (for programming PLC functions)
