Description

Shielded motor connection cable, especially for use in frequency converter technology

  • Design based on DIN VDE 0250 Part 405
  • Conductor made of fine stranded copper wire
  • PE insulation
  • Core color: blue/black/brown/green/yellow
  • Special PVC sheath
  • Shielding with braiding of tinned copper wires.
  • For use in dry and damp rooms under industrial ambient conditions, but not outdoors or in the ground

Note on the specification of the recommended motor power:

 The basis for the design recommendation is the current carrying capacity of cables and lines in accordance with DIN VDE 0298-4, assuming the following conditions:

  • Installation in electrical conduits (B2)
  • Motor cable laid individually
  • Ambient temperature 30°C
  • Motor cable length up to 100m
  • Use of three-phase asynchronous motors in efficiency class IE3, mains voltage 400V/50Hz, speeds from 750 to 3000 rpm
